What's your favorite Ron Paul policy? Part II

YourManOnTheStreet.com meets the people on Clearwater beach that are voting for Ron Paul for president and asked “What is your favorite policy?” Everyone had at least one favorite policy that they could articulate but like many if not all of his policies, such as protecting our liberties, revoking the Patriot Act, bring our troops home, protecting our borders, ending government abuses of power, restoring small government, abolishing the Federal Reserve and the IRS and many other government agencies that have trampled over our liberties and freedoms.

YourManOnTheStreet.com meets the people on Clearwater beach that are voting for the next president of the United States. We asked two questions "Who are you voting for?" and "What is your favorite policy of your candidate?" Most were only vaguely familiar with the candidates and none could articulate a policy their candidate stood for.

Barack Obama, Change We Can Believe In?

Your Man On The Street was at the Barack Obama rally in Tampa. We interviewed people to find out more about this "Change you can believe in". When we asked attendees, “Why you’re voting for Barack Obama?” answers ranged from he is an honest man, nice guy, he’s beautiful looking and smart, and because he is black. When asked, “What was your favorite Barack Obama policy?” answers range from, reduce taxes, get lobbyists out, lower gas prices, help disability, and the big one provide universal healthcare. When asked, “How would Barack Obama change these things?” many people said they couldn’t comment on that, they didn’t know, hadn’t studied the policies, and one person stated he will not just talk about change he will do it.

Man Drinks Wiskey with 160 Year Old TOE in it!!

The legend is that of a rum runner in the Northern Yukon Territory in the 1920’s that amputated his toe to prevent from getting gangrene and kept it pickled in a jar of alcohol. Years later, the toe was discovered by Captain Dick Stevenson and his friends who decided on the rules of the Sourtoe Cocktail and started serving it at the Eldorado Hotel in 1973. Now, if you travel to Dawson City all you need is five dollars and the gumption to consume a drink with a human toe floating in it and then receive an official certificate. Man Defeats Military in his Underpants

A West Point grad with honors found himself serving in the army as a doctor during early 90’s to defend against the communist menace. Instead he discovered that the army was invading Grenada and Panama and fighting wars for oil. He applied to be discharged as a conscientious objector, but instead was sent to Saudi Arabia in Desert Storm. While standing on front lines between Saudi Arabia and Iraq at a major intersection, as an act of resignation, he removed his uniform and stood in underpants holding his hand out to stop all military traffic. He single handily backed up all military traffic, for 5 miles, including tanks, humvees, armored personal carriers, and motorized artillery vehicles. As punishment, he was court marshaled and discharged. The army could have saved themselves a lot of trouble by granting his discharge in the first place.

Guy Gets Shot 2 Times

After serving in the military during the Vietnam war, coming back unharmed, Francisco faces an armed car jacker trying to steal his truck with his wife inside. The gunman says, “I am taking your truck” and Francisco says, “No you're not “ and is shot at close range thrown back against truck door and falls to the ground. Still conscience, Francisco gets up, now bleeding internally, and attempts to stop the gun man and again is shot a second time at close range. He wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for his wife's quick response. As a nurse in training, she saw Francisco was bleeding internally and couldn't breathe. She immediately had a guy cut a piece of water hose from under the hood and began to insert it through Francisco’s nose. She said, “This is going to hurt but you need to swallow if you want to live!” Justice is served in the end as the gun man was finally caught 20 years later and Francisco testified against him.

Guy is Hassled for Playing Guitar

Get harassed by local cops for playing guitar outside as bars keep closing down and it gets harder to get gigs. Cops in St Petersburg say he can’t play after 8:00PM and cops in Clearwater say his guitar playing is a form of solicitation.

Craziest, Wildest, Most Embarassing Thing You've Ever Done

In the tradition of Your Man On The Street, we went out to hear stories from average people on the street. In this video we went to the peir in St Petersburg Florida and asked people, "What was that wildness, craziest or most embarassing thing you've ever done." We got stories from people streaking, women having sex with other women, guy that shot up ice water, highway speeders, to a guy peeing in classroom. Enjoy!
